Cross-Training Day with A Bit of Running.

Since I took Monday off I had no idea what I should do today. It should be a running day but I just ran yesterday, and it wasn’t an easy run for me. Should I cross-train and lift a few weights? When all else fails, hop on the treadmill and let it work itself out. I set the pace at 10:33 and took off. Here I go again with the pace but I just wanted to show that I am improving, not too much but I kept this pace for 2 miles. I even upped the grade to 3% for 1/4 mile.
Since I was pushing it I decided to end the run at 2 miles (21 minutes and 08 seconds). Then I hit the weights. Here and there, quick enough to keep my heart rate up but comfortable. Overall I feel I had a good workout and I won’t feel as guilty not running tomorrow (Boss is taking me out for lunch because of my birthday).
