Something New, Different, and OOF!

Monday I ran a 10 minute first mile. Today I read a post on Runner’s World discussion boards where it would take people the first mile or two to warm up. Their suggestion was to run slow. Well I figured it might be a good idea to run a 12 minute mile for my first mile, then a 10 minute mile, then whatever to finish off three miles. OOF! That was much harder for me. Maybe there were other factors involved because I got really hungry 1/2 way through the run. Maybe I will go back to what I was doing, maybe not, who knows!? I’m still just running.
