Today’s Workout – A Little Bit of Running, A Little Bit of Lifting.

So the road to my 8K has started. Taking from several sources I started today with a two mile run. First mile at a 10:00 pace the next at 11:54 tapering to 9:45 at each 1/4 mile. The plan called for two mile run with weight training, I thought I would work in the speed work a bit. I didn’t want to stop running I felt great and wanted more but time was running short and I did want to stick to the program and get some weight training in.
Unfortunately, I was only able to get the essentials in and rush off to the showers. However, today was good!
